An oak painting and display easel made out of staves from redundant oak barrels.
The oak wooden staves were previously used in the construction of oak barrels.
These staves are repurposed and assembled to create a sturdy and unique painting easel. The use of oak stave construction gives the easel a rustic, vintage look and adds to its stability when holding a canvas.
The staves have been seasoned with wine or spirits and it can give a unique look to the easel and also the painting if the artist chooses to incorporate the color and texture into their work.
It is sealed with an indoor sealer for protection and durability.
